Vapid Stanier '98 - '11 pack for Grand Theft Auto IV
					by XanaBax

Forget about independent suspension, electronic stability control, fuel efficiency and all that nonsense of modern cars.
Drive a relic of the past in the modern Information Age! Other drivers on the road may think you're an undercover cop.

The pack consists of:
Vapid Stanier LE '98 - '02 (add-on)
Vapid Stanier SR '03 - '07 + gang version bodykit (add-on)
Vapid Unmarked Cruiser (replaces fbi.wft by default)
Vapid NOoSE Cruiser (replaces noose.wft by default)
Vapid LCPD Cruiser (replaces police.wft by default)
Vapid Stanier LWB Taxi (replaces taxi.wft by default)

The '98 - '11 Stanier is based on Ford Crown Victoria 1998 - 2011 (including police and LWB versions).
The taillight shape is based on 1st gen Audi A3.
The grille of Stanier LE is based on '97 - '04 Buick Regal. Stanier SR's grille is based on '00 - '07 Ford Taurus.
The interior design is a mix of Ford Crown Victoria, Buick Park Avenue, Lincoln Continental.

Vehicle model and handling limits can be changed using Fastman Limit Adjuster or IVTweaker.
Vehicle sounds can be configured in Fastman Limit Adjuster (both add-on and replacements).
FXT files can be loaded by Fastman Limit Adjuster (or you can edit GXT using modding tools).
TACE can be used to load TLAD/TBOGT vehicle sounds in base IV: https://gtaforums.com/topic/967792-grand-theft-auto-iv-the-actual-complete-edition/
or
TACE.Lite: https://www.nexusmods.com/gta4/mods/774

You can edit cargrp.dat (using Fusion OverLoader is recommended to keep vanilla files as backup) to make the car spawn in traffic.
Each line is basically a list of vehicles each group of population drives. The limit is 35 vehicles per group. The order and the
amount of groups is hardcoded in the game EXE file. Some groups are unused or adding stuff to them wouldn't work as intented (like Police/Taxi groups).

If you decide to replace an existing vehicle instead of adding it as a new vehicle then:

1. Rename WFT and WTD files to a desired vanilla replacement (for example, minivan.wft and minivan.wtd)

2. Locate vehicles.ide within GTAIV\common\data (it's best to use FusionFix's Fusion Overloader
which is basically copying your vanilla file to update\common\data and editing it there so the base file is untouched).

3. Open the vehicles.ide with Notepad and locate the replacement car line (for example, minivan).

Format of vehicles.ide lines (can have any amount of empty space between elements as long as it's one single line/string):
<wft name>, <wtd name>, <type as in car/bike/heli/boat/train>, <HANDLING NAME>, <GXT/FXT ENTRY>, <DATA>
minivan, minivan, car, MINIVAN, MINVAN, VEH@STD, VEH@STD_FO1, 100, 999, 0.2546, 0.2546, 0.3, 2, 1.0, 1, -

So, the data is after the GXT entry and that's what needs to be replaced.

4. Do the same with handling.dat (copy if you want to use Fusion OverLoader, open, find vanilla line, replace data with mods).

<HANDLING NAME> <DATA>

5. Same with carcols.dat. Some cars go have data in car3 sections, others in car4. If mod has 4 car colors but vanilla has 3 then you should cut vanilla line
from car3 and paste it inside car4.

Example of car3 line:
<wft/wtd name>, <slot1 color1>,<slot1 color2>,<slot1 color3>, <slot2 color1>,<slot2 color2>,<slot2 color3>, <slot3 color1>,<slot3 color2>,<slot3 color3>, etc

Example of car4 line:
<wft/wtd name>, <slot1 color1>,<slot1 color2>,<slot1 color3>,<slot1 color4>, <slot2 color1>,<slot2 color2>,<slot2 color3>,<slot2 color4>, <slot3 color1>,<slot3 color2>,<slot3 color3>,<slot3 color4>, etc

6. Then the vOff.csv settings (FusionOverloader, then edit with notepad, find vanilla line and.... it's probably faster to use Notepad's rename feature with modded line
and rename cousteau to minivan; after that paste the new vOff.csv lines instead of vanilla ones).

7 Should be it. The name can be changed using a GXT Editor or Fastman Limit Adjuster's FXT Loader.
