BloodStains 1.0 - GTA San Andreas
by Ahmed Hazem

Blood that shows up exactly where a ped was hit.

FEATURES
- Every bullet leaves a wound where it actually hit the body, on peds and on CJ. CJ's shots are traced
against the body mesh itself, so a shot in the right hand bleeds on the right hand only.
- Wounds are alive: a fresh wound spreads for a few seconds in an irregular shape, then dries darker over a
  few minutes.
- Different weapons, different wounds: pistols, rifles and shotgun pellets have their own sizes, knives and
katanas leave cuts, the chainsaw tears.
- Explosions soak the body parts closest to the blast (up to 4 large wounds), falls leave one wound where the
body lands, cars leave wounds where they hit.
- Every body has a limited amount of blood: each wound bleeds a bit less than the last, and after about 20
bullet wounds the body is empty and new holes stay dry.
- Dead bodies can still be shot. They bleed less the longer they have been dead, and stop bleeding after
  50 seconds.
- Heads stay on after headshots (the game normally pops them off). Can be turned off.
- Drawn through the game's own ped rendering, so it gets the same lighting and depth as the body. Works
with shader mods such as Proper Shaders.

REQUIREMENTS
- GTA San Andreas 1.0 US (original or downgraded). Other versions are detected and the mod turns itself off.
- An ASI loader: Modloader, or Silent's ASI Loader / Ultimate ASI Loader.

INSTALL
- Modloader: copy the "BloodStains" folder into GTA San Andreas\modloader\
- Without Modloader: copy BloodStains.asi and BloodStains.ini into the game folder (or its "scripts" folder).

SETTINGS
Everything is in BloodStains.ini, with a comment on every line: wound sizes, how long wounds spread, drying
time, blood colours, how many wounds a body can take, how long corpses bleed, texture resolution and memory,
and the headshot option.

COMPATIBILITY
- Ragdoll mods: works with them (bullets are read from the game's damage, not from the impact effect that
  some ragdoll mods take over).
- Mods that also stop heads popping off: set KeepHeadOnHeadshot=0 in one of them.

UNINSTALL
Delete the BloodStains folder (or BloodStains.asi and BloodStains.ini). Nothing is saved into your save games.
