GTA San Andreas — Recommended Android Settings by Device Tier
================================================================

These are starting points, not guaranteed values — always adjust based
on how the game actually feels on your specific device. No specific FPS
number is promised here; results vary by chipset, thermal throttling,
and background app load.

LOW-END DEVICES (2 GB RAM or older mid-range chipsets)
--------------------------------------------------------
- Draw Distance: Low–Medium
- Frame Limiter: On (helps prevent thermal throttling on longer sessions)
- Particle/effects density: Low, if the option is available on your build
- Wide Screen: Off if you notice UI stretching issues
- Close background apps before launching — this matters more on
low-RAM devices than almost any in-game setting

MID-RANGE DEVICES (3–4 GB RAM, mid-tier chipset)
--------------------------------------------------------
- Draw Distance: Medium–High
- Frame Limiter: On
- Particle/effects density: Medium
- Radio/audio: fine to leave on default; audio has minimal performance
impact compared to draw distance and effects

HIGH-END DEVICES (6 GB+ RAM, flagship or near-flagship chipset)
--------------------------------------------------------
- Draw Distance: High
- Frame Limiter: Off, if you want to allow uncapped performance; On if
you prefer consistent battery/thermal behavior over peak framerate
- Particle/effects density: High

GENERAL TIPS THAT APPLY TO ANY DEVICE
--------------------------------------------------------
- Draw Distance has the single biggest impact on performance of any
setting in this game. If you're having stability issues, lower this
  first before touching anything else.
- Play a session with the screen brightness at a normal level rather
than max — max brightness increases thermal load, which indirectly
affects sustained performance during long play sessions.
- If your device supports a "performance mode" or "game mode" at the
Android system level (many phones do, under Settings or a dedicated
Game Center app), enabling it while playing can reduce background
throttling independent of anything inside GTA San Andreas itself.
- Revisit these settings after any Android system update — updates
occasionally change background resource allocation and what worked
  before may need re-tuning.
